  just come home from a weight loss class early.

  it's 6 months since i da'd and two and a half years since i've been to a meeting.

  there was a witness there (unless she has left, i wouldn't know) we made eye contact!

  They take off like a turkey in a corn field. They are afraid to look me straight in the eye.

  It took me years to get to this point, they have no power over me anymore and they can

  sense that.

  Has the Great Witness Trolley/Cart campaign produced ANY results?

  i live between two cities that are big enough to have their own metropolitan trolley cart arrangements organised at circuit level.

  the 3 congregations at the hall i attend have trolley schedule noticeboards.

  i see trolleys in the high streets and markets locally.

  The wife took a picture yesterday of two sisters with their cart. The problem is

  the location. There is NO walking traffic and one of the sisters didn't look in

  good health, she looked to weigh between 300-400 pounds. She was soaking wet.

  telling anyone this is your last chance. My sister went to my mom and told her, you

  have one year to become a JW. My ex- told her folks the same thing. I guess Jehovahs

  spirit wasn't working on me, because I still had some doubts. Thankful no one has ever

  told me, didn't you tell me back in 1974 we wouldn't be here today.

  You think one would be embarrassed, credibility down the tube.

  just wanted to post here real quick, as many have joked about it.

  we had an announcement in our cong last week about the upcoming one day assembly.

  the title of the assembly is "imitate jehovah".

  Someone else's journey(especially Jehovah) may not always be applicable to yours

  because we each have different circumstances, resource and strengths. Furthermore

  in an ever dynamic world, conditions are seldom identical for two people.

  We know the bible don't accurately document Jehovah's ways, at one point he is

  out of control (OT) and then in the NT he tell us to love our enemies. So which of

  the two are we suppose to imitate.

  Women going topless in NYC.

  within the past couple of days, women in nyc are going around topless in public.

  i read in a news article, that in new york city, there are no laws against women going topless in public.the article says that family people are getting offended and they want to stop topless women in public.

  in europe women show their breasts on on tv, the beach, and breast feeding in public.

  Think about it, in the 50's you were lucky to see a woman thigh, the

  70's the mini-skirts , when was the last time you went to the beach.

  Holy sh--t there is nothing left to the imagination. Some folks believe there

  will be mass rapes of women..LOL
